Job summary

Tramec LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Galion, OH facility. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, design tooling, and support new product launches with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in engineering and 3–5 years of production experience, plus knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP. Expect hands-on shop floor support, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production setting.
Experience improving manufacturing processes in a production environment.
Experience with tooling, fixtures, automation, production equipment, and project execution.
Automotive, commercial vehicle, or heavy-duty truck manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
Lead implementation of production equipment, automation, and tooling.
Evaluate processes for safety, quality, efficiency, ergonomics, capacity, and productivity.
Plan and execute process validation and capability studies.
Lead troubleshooting and implement corrective actions on the production floor.
Provide hands-on engineering support on the production floor.
