Job summary

LHB Industries, based in Berkeley, MO, is seeking a Production Supervisor with 5 years of manufacturing experience to lead the Berkeley production team. You will ensure machinery is running, employees are trained, and that PPE is used correctly to maintain safety and productivity.

You will collaborate across departments, review production schedules, and support continuous improvement through lean practices and strong problem-solving.

• Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems and Lean/5S.
• Familiar with Six Sigma and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Experience with equipment operation and adjustment.
• Chemical handling and safety awareness.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• General knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5 years in manufacturing, 2 years supervisory.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team and uphold company values with respect and candor.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce safety.
• Develop staff skills and increase responsibilities.
• Prioritize production orders and allocate resources.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Supply Chain to ensure material availability.
• Maintain production records and labor reporting.
• Conduct monthly quality and equipment setup checks.
• Perform weekly hazardous waste inspections and reports.
• Provide annual performance reviews for direct reports.
• Assist in maintenance and problem resolution.
• Maintain production schedule and daily HUDDLE.
