Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production planning, assign work, and ensure safe, efficient operations on high-speed lines. The role requires coordinating schedules, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, knowledge of PLC controls, electrical and process improvements, and strong leadership with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience in high speed manufacturing and PLC controls.
• Knowledge of electrical and process improvements.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean or other improvement philosophies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of all equipment, trains associates as necessary, and promptly reports all safety concerns.
• Balances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results with continuous improvement focus.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
• Coaches and develops employees and resolves issues; coordinates with management for guidance on concerns.
• Develops training plans to increase employees’ skills and capabilities; analyzes charts, work orders, maintenance and production schedules.
• Coordinates with other supervisors and managers to align operations across the facility.
• Inspects materials, product, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and determine solutions.
• Ensures adherence to production standards and company policies; maintains strong internal controls.
