AUTOKINITON in Belleville, MI, is seeking a full-time Operations Associate to support production and payroll processes. The role focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the plant while coordinating with supervision and cross-functional teams.

You will monitor production plans, assist in hiring, manage equipment setup, maintain documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. A strong lean background and technical aptitude are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with SPC using micrometers, calipers, and related measurement tools.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven manufacturing administration skills; ability to use computers.

Mansioni

• Educates associates on policy, safety, quality and production requirements.
• Oversees daily payroll administration and timekeeping adjustments.
• Monitors quality documentation, inspection sheets and SPC charts.
• Eliminates waste and leads corrective actions.
• Conducts daily department meetings and communicates production needs.
• Oversees setup, staffing, and inventory reporting; writes work orders as needed.
• Participates in training and development; supports overtime as required.
