Job summary

CompoSecure, a leader in premium metal payment cards, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive Lean Daily Management, and mentor a team of production staff. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while fostering continuous improvement across shifts.

The role involves coordinating shift activities, coaching employees, and partnering with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve issues and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communicator with problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all production activities during the assigned shift.
• Meet daily production schedules while maintaining safety and quality.
• Monitor workflow, adjust staffing, and expedite issues to Production Manager.
• Facilitate daily tier meetings to review KPIs and assign countermeasures.
• Maintain visual management boards and ensure data accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor production associates for high performance.
• Address employee relations issues with HR support.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members.
• Conduct performance feedback and promote cross-training.
• Lead quarterly performance reviews with department supervisors.
