Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to ensure efficient, safe production aligned with the plant schedule and quality standards. The role involves supervising line readiness, supervising changeovers, and leading a team to meet KPIs and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or technical certification preferred.
Minimum three years of work experience.
Minimum two years in manufacturing; beverage or consumer goods preferred.
Experience supervising or managing employees in operations.
Strong leadership and coaching skills; ability to work with teams.
Knowledge of GMP and LEAN Six Sigma in manufacturing; analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operations/Performance: ensures readiness of the production line at start-up, oversees changeovers, adjusts schedules, analyzes MTBF data, and manages line efficiencies and downtime.
Safety: ensures equipment is safe, maintains product quality, advances GMP practices, and ensures training completion.
People Leadership: maintains presence on the floor, staffs and develops team members, fosters a positive work environment.
Leader Administration: verifies time for payroll, coaches on performance, closes production orders.
Communication and Collaboration: writes daily recaps, informs leadership of issues, partners with maintenance, engineering, QA and warehouse.
