Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to drive efficient, safe manufacturing and adherence to the plant schedule. You will ensure quality standards are met and actively lead a production team on the floor.

Responsibilities include line readiness, changeovers, data-driven improvements (MTBF, downtime), KPI management, and collaboration with maintenance, engineering, QA, and warehousing to hit goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or Technical Certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years of work experience required.
• Minimum of two years in manufacturing; beverage or consumer goods preferred.
• Experience supervising or managing employees in an operations environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and development skills; teamwork oriented.
• Knowledge of GMP and LEAN Six Sigma in manufacturing.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Verifies readiness of the production line at start-up and oversees changeovers.
• Adjusts product schedules to meet business needs and analyzes data for MTBF and downtime.
• Manages line efficiencies, KPIs, production downtime, and OPEX budget.
• Monitors production processes and makes adjustments per SOPs.
• Leads safety, GMP improvements, and ensures training completion.
• Staffs, trains, evaluates and develops production team members.
• Coordinates with maintenance, engineering, QA and warehouse to meet goals.
• Completes daily production reports with SAP and communicates issues.
