Job summary

Dover Food Retail’s Conyers, GA facility seeks a Supervisor of Production to lead frontline hourly staff, uphold safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will develop standard work, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with supply chain and quality teams to meet targets.

You will influence operations through data-driven decisions, manage training matrices, and ensure timely, accurate timekeeping while promoting a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in a leadership role (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leads and front-line hourly production staff; ensure safety and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule meeting quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain inventory control for raw materials used by the department.
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to hit targets.
• Respond to operational issues impacting customer expectations and cycle time.
• Enforce company policies; engage HR/Safety when needed.
• Build morale and sustain positive attitudes among associates; recruit and train when needed.
• Document associate skills and create a training matrix.
• Capture and analyze productivity data to identify causes of high/low output.
• Direct resources to procure shipment items as required.
• Communicate decisions with data and documentation.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping in ADP for direct reports.
• Enforce safety rules and procedures for safety of people and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
