Job summary

Accelera in Kent, WA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing workflows on our swing shift (10‑hour shifts Monday through Thursday). Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Business, Manufacturing, or Materials Process Engineering.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role with leadership experience.
• Hands‑on experience applying Lean and Kaizen methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate department performance using data analysis and observation.
• Proven ability to design and execute plans driving systemic improvements across the facility.
• Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems and proposing innovative alternatives.
• Versatile leadership style to develop diverse team members.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with technical computer systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of staff within the production zone.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members through personalized development strategies.
• Manage personnel tasks including delegation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary measures.
• Drive efficiency by leading Lean or Kaizen initiatives to minimize waste and cost.
• Create and implement SOPs to maintain process stability.
• Investigate quality discrepancies with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze production capacity and staffing needs; resolve scheduling or material issues.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting audits.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product introductions and act as a contact for customer communications.
