Job summary

Snap-on Incorporated in Elizabethton, Tennessee, is seeking a Supervisor - Production to lead up to 50 hourly associates and drive safety, quality and delivery targets. This role requires a strong manufacturing background, attention to production workflow, and a ability to develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include daily planning, scheduling, troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with engineering, maintenance and planning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

• Regularly review process and productivity information. Troubleshoot and resolve production, quality and delivery issues working closely with engineering, maintenance and planning.
• Train, evaluate, coach and mentor associates, utilizing performance management techniques, to help improve performance, including disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Lead, participate in and support Continuous Improvement and other problem solving activities. Lead associates to use Continuous Improvement tools. Support implementation of new processes and methods.
• Maintain and consistently administer local policies to meet day-to-day operating requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining procedures and work instructions and for completing a variety of administrative tasks as necessary.
