Job summary

Snap-on Incorporated in Elizabethton, Tennessee, is seeking a Supervisor - Production to lead up to 50 hourly associates and drive safety, quality and delivery targets. This role requires a strong manufacturing background, attention to production workflow, and a ability to develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include daily planning, scheduling, troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with engineering, maintenance and planning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Maintain and consistently administer local policies to meet day-to-day operating requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining procedures and work instructions and for completing a variety of administrative tasks as necessary.

Motivate and coordinate associates to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives within the department. Responsible for overseeing department workflow, troubleshooting and resolving production problems. Develop and maintain a team environment which will work toward providing continuous improvement. Lead staff of up to 50 hourly associates.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing. Possess technical skills related to the area of responsibility. Previous supervisory experience and Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English.
