Job summary

Carolina Beverage Group, LLC in Mooresville, NC, seeks a production shift supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced beverage co-packing environment. You will coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment to meet safety, quality, and production goals while ensuring compliance with plant policies.

You will partner with multiple departments, manage daily operations, and drive continuous improvement in productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college
• 2-3 years related experience, preferably in beverage manufacturing
• Strong commitment to safety and quality of products and service

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate personnel, materials, equipment, and daily activities of an assigned production area and shift.
• Supervise employees on the manufacturing floor to meet schedules and safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals.
• Coordinate production operations and maintain effective quality and sanitation procedures within the department.
• Control workflow to maximize capacity and efficient use of labor, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance work with manufacturing needs and adjust schedules for unforeseen conditions.
• Monitor control procedures, including waste/recycling management.
• Build effective relationships with internal departments to produce a superior product.
• Ensure daily adherence to Carolina Beverage Group standards and customer commitments (QA, safety, output, on-time delivery).
• Maintain an ongoing safety plan; enforce plant safety regulations and housekeeping.
• Coach and counsel team members to meet Carolina Beverage Group standards.
• Work with Human Resources to ensure proper staffing and training.
