Carolina Beverage Group, headquartered in Mooresville, NC, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 2-2-3 rotating shift. You will direct personnel, equipment, and activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals across a 12-hour day shift.

Our Opportunity: Production Supervisor

Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Hours: 12-hour shift - 7a-7p

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)

Summary:

Direct and coordinate the personnel, materials, equipment, and daily activities of an assigned production area and shift, driving a focus on the company mission of safe, quality cases. Supervise employees to meet production schedules and safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals while maintaining compliance with all plant policies, procedures, and regulations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Expected to be at least 30 minutes early for shift to download with previous shift, prepare for their shift meeting, and perform the pre-shift meeting with their team with goal to communicate issues occurring on previous shift and set expectation/schedule for their shift.
• Supervise employees on the manufacturing floor during an assigned shift to meet manufacturing and production schedules and accomplish productivity, safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Responsible for all routine functions on the plant floor during an assigned shift.
• Coordinate production operations and maintain effective quality and sanitation procedures within the department.
• Control workflow to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools, and equipment.
• Adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Coordinate maintenance work with manufacturing needs.
• Monitor all control procedures, including waste/recycling management.
• Build effective relationships with all internal departments to produce a superior product.
• Ensure that on a daily basis all Carolina Beverage Group standards and customer commitments (i.e., QA, safety, output, on-time delivery) are followed within the plant.
• Maintain an effective, ongoing safety plan; enforce plant safety regulations and housekeeping practices; and encourage employees to become safety conscious.
• Coach and counsel team members to perform to Carolina Beverage Group standards.
• Work closely with Human Resources to ensure proper staffing and training of the team.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all hourly employee concerns.
• Prepare and submit reports as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
