Job summary

Hydranautics is a part of the Nitto Group of companies and a global leader in membrane solutions. We seek a production manager to oversee development of production staff, safety, scheduling, and quality control to support cost controls and equipment protection.

Under limited supervision, you will motivate and guide employees to meet business objectives, and collaborate with HR for staffing, training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Water industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independent on alternate shifts preferred.
• Strong leadership and people skills to motivate, guide and train staff.
• Solid ability to resolve employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day leadership to staff including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and evaluating work.
• Communicates safety compliance issues and training to adhere to 5S standards.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results.
• Manages departmental performance measures with progress reports to Production Management.
• Cross-trains employees for flexible coverage and assists HR with staffing actions.
• Oversees time-keeping and investigates accidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
