Job summary

Hydranautics, a global leader in membrane solutions, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead production employees, safety, and schedule adherence while controlling costs. You will mentor staff, drive coaching and discipline, and provide performance evaluations to meet business goals.

The role requires a BS in Business Administration and 5 years of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration plus 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Water industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently on alternate shifts is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people skills to motivate and develop staff.
• Solid knowledge of automated manufacturing methods and workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reading of safety docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to staff including recruiting and evaluating work.
• Ensure safety compliance and 5S housekeeping standards across the facility.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve results.
• Manage performance measures and provide progress reports to Production Management.
• Collaborate with HR on recruiting, promotions, and transfers.
• Cross-train employees to sustain a flexible workforce.
• Approve time cards and investigate accidents as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
