Walman Optical is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, production, and customer service goals are met. You will develop high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and model a best-in-class work environment across the lab and office processes.

The role requires 4 years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and collaboration across departments, with the ability to manage schedules and performance.

Formación

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to solve various types of problems that may involve multiple departments.
• Ability to perform to high levels of competency in all aspects of lab manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, DVI software)
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to maintain an even workflow and a motivating work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Manage interactions with internal and external customers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production teams to achieve daily goals and objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate productivity through team and individual metrics.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and coach employees on initiatives.
• Communicate the benefits of our value proposition to team members and accounts.
• Convey company policies and procedures to the team.
• Coach and document performance reviews and address issues as needed.
• Schedule vacation hours considering seasonality workloads and staffing.
• Maintain production and machine maintenance records and charts.
• Coordinate with offsite vendors to troubleshoot machine errors via remote interfaces.
• Maintain collaboration with internal and external accounts on product information and Rx service.
• Model motivation, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in the workplace.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Adhere to attendance and safety rules and protect confidential HIPAA information.
• Provide training and direction to less experienced coworkers; attend applicable trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
