Job summary

MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Garland, TX. This role oversees resources, workflows, and a production team to meet schedules and quality standards, while ensuring safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety regulations.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience, mechanical aptitude, and strong computer skills, with a bachelor’s degree preferred and HS diploma required.

Qualifications

Manufacturing or process environment experience.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Proficient with computers.
Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Organize resources and workflows to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Supervise production team members and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.
Provide on-the-job training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Monitor staffing levels and maintain manpower within authorized levels.
Collaborate with corporate teams to support quality, regulatory, and reporting standards.
Analyze operations for improvements in methods, tools, communication, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with production procedures, safety protocols, and quality expectations.
Follow all safety procedures, work rules, and company policies.
Perform additional duties as needed.

Organize resources and workflows to meet production schedules and quality standards
Supervise production team members and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment
Provide on-the-job training and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Monitor staffing levels and maintain manpower within authorized levels
Collaborate with corporate teams to support quality, regulatory, and reporting standards
Analyze operations for improvements in methods, tools, communication, and cost control
Ensure compliance with production procedures, safety protocols, and quality expectations
Follow all safety procedures, work rules, and company policies.

Qualifications

You must be mechanically inclined and have experience in a manufacturing or process type of environment.
Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree from a four year College or University, strongly preferred.
At a minimum, require High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
You should be proficient and comfortable with computers.
Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
Must be able to accommodate the designated shift hours: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 am approx.) or a 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am approx.)
