Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
• 8+ years production/manufacturing processes and techniques experience
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with JD Edwards (preferred) or other ERP systems
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and/or steel manufacturing/assembly
• Maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• High School Graduate
• Previous Production leadership experience
• Business Management/Project Management experience

• Provide leadership to achieve positive morale, production efficiencies, adherence to company policies, production timelines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety guidelines/procedures/standards
• Collaborate with Engineering on design, new product development, equipment specifications, appropriate documentation
• Investigate production issues and develop resolutions
• Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluations, discipline, succession programs and retention
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The Chart Production Supervisor position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s Air Cooled Heat Exchanger Business. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tubout department including managing the production processes and staff associated with them. This role will be critical in ensuring that Chart achieves key metrics around on time delivery, quality, safety and efficiency.

What Will You Do?

• Manage the production scheduling and coordination of activities within the respective group

Your Experience Should Be...

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
