Onealmfgservices is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor in Indianapolis to lead shop floor operations, schedule work, and drive productivity.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities including training, performance reviews, and coordinating with planning to meet delivery dates. Strong leadership and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in steel/manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience required.
• ISO 9001:2015 experience preferred.
• Formal safety training (OSHA 30, NSC) preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.
• Fluent English speaking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop employees and plan work schedules.
• Know, enforce and audit safety procedures and guidelines.
• Understand and implement quality practices; assist Quality team.
• Interview and train new and existing employees.
• Coordinate with Planning to set daily machine schedules and meet delivery dates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support maintenance and monitor performance.
• Resolve internal/external customer problems/complaints.
• Foster teamwork and high employee morale.
