Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks an experienced Production Supervisor/Area Manager to lead manufacturing operations at the Mentor, OH site. You will supervise 15–20 employees and drive quality, safety, and productivity. Requirements include an Associate degree in Management or Engineering; a B.S.

Qualifications

Minimum Associates degree in Management, Engineering or related disciplines, B.S. degree or equivalent preferred.
Equivalent background considered with minimum five years casting operations experience with progressive responsibility.
Minimum of one to three years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Provide effective supervision and coaching to 15-20 employees to achieve quality and production goals.
Manage movement of product through the production area and organize work for smooth operations.
Ensure SOPs and engineering procedures are current and followed for maximum quality.
Monitor safety program and enforce safety regulations.
Maintain housekeeping standards and knowledge of all production processes.
Schedule employees to meet production needs and assist in candidate selection as requested.
