Job summary

TAG Systems USA seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a secure card manufacturing and personalization facility in Eatontown, NJ. The role leads production staff, coordinates workflow, and ensures on-time completion with high quality and adherence to safety standards.

You will work closely with Quality, Maintenance, HR, and management to maintain top performance, driving continuous improvement and efficient production metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and performance metrics.
• Experience in secure manufacturing, financial cards, printing, packaging, or a similar environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet schedules, deadlines, and customer requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop team leaders, machine operators, and production employees.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, downtime, and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Partner with Quality and Maintenance to resolve production, equipment, and quality issues.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and efficiency.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on equipment, procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
• Support production scheduling, staffing plans, and departmental goals.
• Maintain accurate production records and provide management with updates on output, staffing, downtime, and operational concerns.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a professional, accountable, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support production operations.
