Position Overview

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee safety, quality, productivity, and talent management for your shift. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational skills, and a proven track record of operational excellence. This role reports to the Operations Manager and leads a team of 10-20 employees.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture with active coaching and enforcement of protocols.
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits, and submit reports promptly.
• Maintain product quality standards through inspections and process improvements.
• Collaborate with quality leads to resolve issues and enhance product consistency.
• Analyze production activities, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
• Use ITW toolbox methodologies to optimize processes, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members; conduct training and address concerns.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED + 5+ years related experience OR Bachelor's in a technical field + 2+ years.
• Strong leadership, safety, quality, and production knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 annually (Chicago, IL metro area). Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401K, charitable programs, and scholarships.
