Location Description

Responsibilities
Position Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in production by performing tasks such as preparing work assignments, equipment setup, ensuring quality standards are met, enforcing policies, and supervising employees. It also involves complying with safety work rules and food safety regulations, and reinforcing safety as a core value.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to safety policies and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  2. Manage line equipment, employees, and raw materials to meet production schedules by planning ahead.
  3. Monitor production and employees to meet safety and quality standards.
  4. Identify problems, facilitate meetings, and implement solutions.
  5. Supervise employees, enforce policies, initiate disciplinary actions, and evaluate performance.
  6. Conduct line tours and adhere to standard work procedures.
  7. Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  8. Communicate with managers and supervisors regarding employee and production status.
  9. Coordinate with maintenance to ensure effective maintenance schedules.
  10. Lead safety training and ensure all employees have safety equipment.
  11. Promote teamwork and facilitate cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  12. Maintain sanitary conditions, follow GMPs, and report any issues affecting food safety, quality, or safety.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, training, or education.

Experience
  • Knowledge of company policies, facility and warehouse processes, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience supervising and coaching employees.
Skills
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and business documents.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and ability to interpret data and graphs.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and SAP/TRM software.
  • Ability to facilitate team meetings and foster continuous improvement.
Additional

The pay range for this position is $59,423 - $83,191 per year.
