Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in production, comply with safety work rules, and reinforce safety as a core value. Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to Food Safety & Quality, and supervise employees and production activities.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
• Manage equipment, employees, and raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Monitor safety and quality standards during production.
• Identify and resolve problems, facilitate meetings, and implement solutions.
• Supervise employees, enforce policies, evaluate performance, and conduct safety training.
• Ensure paperwork accuracy, communicate with management, and coordinate maintenance.
• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain sanitary conditions, report safety or quality issues, and adhere to GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Knowledge of company policies, facility processes, regulations, and supervised equipment. Effective supervision and coaching skills.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, including safety instructions and emergency communication.

Language Skills: Ability to interpret business and technical documents, and to present information effectively.

Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic math, rate, ratio, percent, and data interpretation.

Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions in various formats.

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations: Relevant licenses or certifications as required.

Other Skills: Ability to meet production timelines, computer literacy, facilitate meetings, foster continuous improvement, and effective communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $59,423 - $83,191 per year.
