PPG is hiring a Production Supervisor in Little Rock. The role involves direct supervision of a designated production area, reporting to the Production Manager, and working on the third shift.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead assigned production area with a focus on safety, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
2. Achieve manufacturing objectives by setting clear expectations, planning daily tasks, assigning resources, and monitoring performance.
3. Recruit, mentor, counsel, and coach employees on performance and procedures.
4. Manage production progress, workflow optimization, staffing, resource allocation, and implement cost-saving measures.
5. Maintain shift production summaries and report processing flow results.
6. Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve employee issues, using data analysis for solutions.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with SAP is preferred; operation of SAP is expected.
• Forklift certification (standup/sitdown) is a plus.
