Job Description Summary

The Production Supervisor - 3rd shift will oversee daily operations within the CMC plant, ensuring reliability and consistency on the production line. This role requires strong leadership skills to foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork while meeting all Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC) and performance goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate tactical execution, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to coach and develop team members. The 3rd shift hours are 10:45P - 7:00 A, Monday - Friday

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees in a safety-first culture, addressing safety concerns and accident investigations.
  • Ensure alignment with the production plan and communicate priorities, project status, and metrics to the team.
  • Lead small-scope events within shifts, address Daily Management (DM) board issues, and coach tactical execution for Daily Management.
  • Build peer relationships and collaborate cross-functionally on smaller-scale projects to improve metrics, safety, shop efficiency, and delivery.
  • Analyze data to identify issues or areas for improvement and implement solutions under guidance or in a team setting.
  • Motivate the hourly workforce by setting clear expectations for production output, EHS compliance, and quality workmanship.
  • Investigate and own improvement efforts to address production constraints and drive operational efficiency.
  • Encourage an environment of continuous improvement and team member development, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices.
  • Demonstrate examples of process improvement and change management to drive operational excellence.
  • Utilize in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems to support production and reporting needs.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory experience.
