Job summary

Furst-McNess Company in Lodi, WI is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, ensure safety and quality, and meet schedules. This frontline role supervises production staff, drives engagement, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

You will coach employees on SOPs, coordinate with maintenance and quality, and maintain accurate records while assisting with staffing, onboarding, and performance discussions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
• Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification with company support.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate employees and foster a positive team environment.
• Reading, writing, and speaking English; basic math calculations.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Supervise and direct production employees during assigned shifts.
• Monitor processes, product quality, and workflow against standards.
• Train, coach, and develop employees on safe practices and SOPs.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and comply with policies/regulations.
• Communicate priorities, schedule changes, and needs to staff and leadership.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and performance discussions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse to resolve issues.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Perform production-related tasks and provide hands-on support as needed.
