Furst-McNess Company is seeking a Production Operator for our Lodi, WI location to support safe and efficient feed and mineral production and packaging. The role operates production equipment, follows procedures, and maintains a clean, safe work area while contributing to plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to learn equipment operation, and strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

# Production Operator (Mon-Thurs) 4 Day WorkweekLodi, WI - Lodi, WI 53555## Description**Furst-McNess Company**is looking to add a full-time**Production Operator**at our **Lodi, WI** location **(just off I-90)**.* 4-Day Workweek, 10-hours shifts (*with available overtime as needed*)**Available Shifts**:* 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5am to 3pm, $21+ per hour* 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, Noon to 10pm, $23+ per hour* 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 8pm to 6am, $24+ per hour**Starting Pay**: Compensation will be determined by shift schedule, relevant experience, and the interview process**Pay Type**: Hourly rate with overtime pay, paid bi-weekly**Work Setting**: Onsite, production/warehouse environment**Work Location**: 9077 Schutz Road, Lodi, WI 53555**Benefit Package:**We offer a comprehensive benefits program designed to promote health, financial security, and work‐life balance. See our benefits summary below.**POSITION SUMMARY:**The Feed Production Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing and packaging high‐quality feed and mineral products. This role operates production equipment, follows established procedures, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and supports daily plant operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‐oriented, and committed to producing consistent, high‐quality products while contributing to efficient plant operations.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:* Operate manufacturing, production, and packaging equipment* Package product and stack bags or bulk product onto pallets* Measure, prepare and add materials according to work instructions* Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished goods* Assist with mixing or production processes as trained* Load and unload bulk materials from trucks or other deliveries* Perform routine equipment checks, report maintenance needs, and assist with basic repairs when trained* Follow inventory procedures and repair damaged bags or pallets as needed* Maintain a clean and safe work area; complete daily and weekly housekeeping tasks and documentation* Complete production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and on time* Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, equipment lockout/tagout, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues* Perform other duties as assigned**QUALIFICATIONS**:* High school diploma or equivalent required* Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or related experience is preferred* Experience operating industrial equipment, or willingness to learn and operate equipment safely* Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification with company support* Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math calculations* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork* Effective teamwork, communication, and reliability skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities* Willingness to work in an indoor warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather conditions* Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights, and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment**About Furst-McNess Company**:For more than a century, Furst-McNess Company has been a trusted leader in animal nutrition, delivering innovative feed, mineral, and management solutions to livestock producers across the United States.
