Job Description: Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

We are working with a leading high-quality and authentic ingredient manufacturer distributing nationwide to all retailers and food service providers. The company aims to strengthen its brand and reach growing groups of people looking for healthier lifestyle foods. They are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the production team to ensure production goals are met. This person will report directly to the production manager.

Location: St. Louis, MO area

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the production team to meet the production targets as set by the scheduler.
2. Work hours are from 2 pm to 12 am, Monday through Thursday.
3. Ensure all production personnel follow cGMP’s and HACCP protocols at all times.
4. Review and update production SOPs and work instructions as needed.
5. Audit the department to ensure safe working conditions are maintained.
6. Assist with hiring and termination processes for employees when necessary.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a food production supervisory role.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Prior experience managing a production team, ideally within a food manufacturing plant.
• Experience working with ammonia is a plus.
• Excellent communication and team interaction skills.
• Must be a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks efficiently under time and cost pressures, assign priorities effectively, and achieve results with minimal supervision.
