Your Role

As the Manufacturing Supervisor – Cell Culture Media - 2nd Shift at our 3506 S. Broadway location, your primary responsibility is to manage personnel and resources for manufacturing. You will develop your team’s skills, ensure safety and compliance with all regulations (OSHA, USDA, ExciPact, ISO, etc.), and coordinate efforts to meet departmental and company goals.

  • Select, train, motivate, and evaluate employees.
  • Ensure tasks are completed according to SOPs, OJTs, and protocols.
  • Maintain effective communication through meetings and shift pass-downs.
  • Report team status and feedback to management.
  • Align team efforts with ISCO Excellence and company objectives.
  • Represent the team in Material Review Board (MRB) and production scheduling meetings.
  • Plan responses to customer needs and company goals.
  • Support customer relations and represent the company during audits.
  • Perform duties of direct reports occasionally.
Physical Attributes
  • Lift, push, pull, or move up to 35 lbs independently; 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Wear PPE such as safety shoes and goggles as necessary.
Shift

Monday-Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm (potential for off-shift/weekend work).

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with 3+ years of manufacturing experience OR
  • High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of life science manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with chemistry and science principles.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience with Digital/Smart Manufacturing.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Knowledge of processing techniques and aseptic manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
