About the Role:

Boston Scientific in Maple Grove seeks a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead a team from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The role involves overseeing the safe production of high-quality medical devices, directly impacting patient lives worldwide. You will develop your leadership skills by coaching and mentoring team members, fostering engagement and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities include ensuring daily line performance, safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

  1. Producing high-quality products safely, on time, at optimal costs.
  2. Understanding customer requirements to deliver the right products at the right time.
  3. Achieving and exceeding product cost goals.
  4. Supporting new product development readiness activities.
  5. Manufacturing products to the highest quality standards and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  6. Promoting safety, quality, and compliance, maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices.
  7. Fostering teamwork and operational excellence across teams.
  8. Ensuring effective communication between production and support teams.
  9. Managing, motivating, and developing team members through coaching and performance management.
  10. Embedding company values through recognition and demonstration of behaviors.
  11. Using production planning tools to ensure resource availability.
  12. Ensuring effective training and maintaining training versatility.
  13. Using leader standard work to meet standards and escalate issues.
  14. Leading continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and best practices.
  15. Partnering with materials management for planning and logistics.
  16. Analyzing build plan requirements and providing production commitments.
  17. Anticipating needs and positioning resources accordingly.
  18. Contributing to long-term planning of the production area.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing and education.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Lean tools and systems.
  • Ability to support and lead a 2nd shift team (1:30 PM - 9:30 PM).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulated environments and the medical device industry.
  • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Flexibility, agility, and self-starting ability.

Salary Range: $58,200 - $110,500. Compensation varies based on location, experience, education, and organizational needs.
