Operations Management Support - Live Oak, Florida

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The role includes meeting all reporting requirements for the area of supervision. Must be willing to work 2nd shift!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Train employees and create an environment that fosters maximum quality and productivity performance.
2. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize resources effectively, maintaining safety, quality, and employee satisfaction standards.
3. Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback as needed.
4. Promote goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
5. Collaborate with other departments to investigate quality improvements, cost reductions, method improvements, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions.
6. Promote safety throughout the work area.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more years of supervisory experience.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Leadership experience managing 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED required; college degree in a related field preferred.
