Job summary

Ditsch USA is hiring a Line Lead for the 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 2:00 AM / 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM, Monday–Thursday, Fridays as needed) at our Cincinnati, OH facility. You will lead and coach production staff, keep workflow moving, and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency on every shift.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read production documents. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, teamwork, basic math and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read production documents and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support production employees during the shift.
• Keep production moving safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor workflow, staffing needs, changeovers, and shift transitions.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety expectations.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and communicate updates to supervisors.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time; support continuous improvement and reduce downtime.

What You’ll Do

As a Line Lead, you will support employees on the production floor, keep workflow on track, and help ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met each shift.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable leading a team in a manufacturing environment. Food production experience is helpful, but strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are most important.

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production.
• Previous lead, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, teamwork, basic math, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read production documents, follow specifications, and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures, equipment, noise, and required safety gear.
