Ditsch USA is seeking a Line Lead to coach and supervise production teams on the 2nd shift, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the line. This hands-on leadership role requires active involvement on the floor and a commitment to meeting daily production goals.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and communication skills, experience in manufacturing (preferably food production), and the ability to read production documentation and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production.
• Previous lead, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, teamwork, basic math, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support production employees during the shift.
• Keep production moving safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor workflow, staffing needs, changeovers, and shift transitions.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety expectations.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and communicate updates to supervisors.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Support continuous improvement, reduce waste, and help minimize downtime.

Job Opportunity: 2nd shift - Production Line Lead with Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, OH

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM / 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM, Monday - Thursday, Fridays as needed.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑minded, and comfortable leading a team in a manufacturing environment. Food production experience is helpful, but strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills are most important.

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production.
• Previous lead, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, teamwork, basic math, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read production documents, follow specifications, and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures, equipment, noise, and required safety gear.
