Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized Professional Staffing and Recruiting firm currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This is a direct hire opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company.

Position Overview:

This role oversees and directs production line staff across several departments. The primary objectives are to meet production targets, ensure safety, and maintain or exceed quality standards. The supervisor will coordinate production activities with Maintenance, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing departments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Manage, train, and develop employees
2. Schedule personnel shifts
3. Conduct regular visual line inspections to ensure product quality, proper labeling, and packaging
4. Review, collect, and report production data and variances to management
5. Resolve daily production issues collaboratively with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Logistics teams

Position Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment
2. Understanding of production line equipment processes and mechanics
3. Strong organizational and communication skills
4. High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
5. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
6. Experience in aluminum and/or plastic packaging, food, or consumer products industries
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
8. Knowledge of GMP, quality, and hygiene standards relevant to food manufacturing

Pay: $75,000
