Position Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating all manufacturing activities for the shift or group assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Supervises all employees assigned to the shift.
2. Assists HR with employee relations for the shift.
3. Manages employees' timesheets through the HRIS and attendance system.
4. Conducts problem solving for manufacturing issues.
5. Coordinates with other departments to meet production deadlines.
6. Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences.
7. Inspects materials, products, or equipment for defects or malfunctions.
8. Oversees training of new employees and monitors progress.
9. Collaborates with Quality to ensure conformance to production and quality standards.

Requirements:

• HSD/GED required; certifications or college degree a plus
• Minimum 3 years supervising in a metal manufacturing environment; Fastener Industry experience a plus
• 5+ years experience operating Header Machines
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and issue resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
