Job summary

• Support launches, improvements, and lean initiatives.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and environmental standards.
• Drive corrective actions for quality, safety, and production issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and others to hit objectives.
• Manage employee performance, training plans, and discipline.
• Provide daily production reporting and implement improvements.

Objective of job:

• Establish ownership of the processes through effective communication/implementation of Plant goals and objectives with a focus on personnel planning, production planning, quality, safety, 5s, budget control and continuous improvement. Emphasis placed on performance by attaining all measurable and deliverables with respect to training and development, efficiency, scrap reduction, PPM, First Time Yield, OEE, Utilization and safety.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop production associates.
• Ensure daily production schedules, quality standards, and labor targets are met.
• Monitor performance metrics including PP, OEE, scrap, FTY, PPM, and equipment utilization.
• Support product launches, process improvements, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and 5S standards.
• Drive corrective actions for quality, safety, and production issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
• Manage employee performance, evaluations, training plans, and disciplinary processes.
• Provide daily production reporting and implement improvement actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required. 3 to 5 years preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
