Job summary

DRÄXLMAIER in Duncan, South Carolina, is seeking a Production Supervisor to own daily manufacturing operations, drive lean initiatives, and ensure safety, quality and on-time production.

You will lead, coach, and develop production associates, coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance and Quality, monitor KPIs such as OEE, scrap and First Time Yield, and implement improvements to meet plant goals. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Establish ownership of the processes through effective communication/implementation of Plant goals and objectives with a focus on personnel planning, production planning, quality, safety, 5s, budget control and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop production associates.
• Ensure daily production schedules, quality standards, and labor targets are met.
• Monitor performance metrics including PP, OEE, scrap, FTY, PPM, and equipment utilization.
• Support product launches, process improvements, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and 5S standards.
• Drive corrective actions for quality, safety, and production issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
• Manage employee performance, evaluations, training plans, and disciplinary processes.
• Provide daily production reporting and implement improvement actions as needed.

Objective of job:
