Job summary

Lennox AES, a division of Lennox International, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on a shift. You will oversee daily line performance, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and guide a team of hourly employees toward production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on coaching, and the ability to plan labor, materials, and equipment while maintaining strict production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing or production experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a production environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism.
  • Proven track record of performance and reliability.
  • Strong knowledge of production operations, scheduling, workflow coordination, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop production teams while managing performance and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing operations for assigned shift or production lines.
  • Ensure production targets for volume, quality, and cost are consistently met.
  • Supervise and lead hourly employees, including personnel actions and daily direction.
  • Maintain detailed logs of shift operations.
  • Prepare daily timesheets, production summaries, overtime, and downtime reports.
  • Inspect products to verify adherence to production specifications.
  • Review production schedules and allocate material and manpower resources effectively.
  • Assign employees to maximize efficiency and output while maintaining quality standards.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, including materials, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate reports, records, and documentation of production activities.
  • Train new employees on operational procedures, safety standards, and company expectations.

AES

a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

What Drives Success

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing manufacturing operations within a shift or group of production lines, ensuring achievement of volume, quality, and cost targets. What We Offer
Compensation

This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $68,000 - $89,250 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
