Job summary

Lennox AES in Weatherford, TX is seeking an Assembler (I) to prepare components and assemble products following blueprints, diagrams, and instructions. You will paint, finish, and insulate parts as part of our manufacturing process.

This hourly, non-exempt role pays $18.50 per hour plus overtime; we offer tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability benefits, and paid leave. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic tool skills.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
  • May perform other limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks of a standard nature.

AES

A division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

What Drives Success

An Assembler (I) for Lennox AES at our Weatherford, TX location plays a crucial role in our production process by preparing components and assembling parts to create our finished products. They follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to ensure the accurate and efficient creation of products. They will be responsible for painting, finishing, and/or insulating products.

Duties
  • Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.

What We Are Looking For
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to learn how to operate basic machinery (ex. Waterjet).
  • Able to paint and work with insulation.
Education/Experience
  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role is $18.50 hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
