Job summary

Lennox AES in Tallassee, AL is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and maintain production equipment, set up machines for runs, monitor outputs, and document production data to ensure quality. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to stand for long periods, lift moderate to heavy objects, and work well in a team.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers overtime eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams or assembly instructions.

AES

A division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead time

What Drives Success

A Machine Operator for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of various machinery, ensuring efficient production processes and meeting quality standards. This role may involve setting up machines, conducting troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and assisting in other areas.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
• Able to operate basic machinery (ex. Plasma table, slear, or press brake )
• Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.

Education/Experience

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $19.50/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
