Job summary

Interfor is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team at the Sault Ste. Marie I-Joist Mill. You will drive safety, quality, and performance, and collaborate across the business to deliver strong operational results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in lumber operations with supervisory experience, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Outlook and Excel. The role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and a culture of open communication.

Qualifications

• 3 years in sawmill, planer, or related operations; at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; computer competency, especially in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Familiarity with lumber manufacturing, machine maintenance, and process optimization is an asset.

Salary Range:$85,000 – $100,000 (CAD) per year
