Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Production Supervisor in Pasco, WA to lead daily manufacturing activities, ensure safety, and drive on-time delivery.

You will supervise team performance, monitor material flow, and apply lean principles to improve efficiency and quality while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing principles applied to production settings.
• Experience with automated production machinery and tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Supervise production team members in attendance, training, task execution, and employee relations.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Monitor material flow to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Participate in production meetings to communicate priorities and resolve issues.
• Ensure processes follow lean principles and standard work practices.
• Support site rules, regulations, and policies.
• Perform other duties to support operational goals.

Your Role in Our Mission

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Supervise and support production team members in areas such as attendance, training, task execution, and employee relations.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Monitor material flow to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality.
• Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to communicate priorities and resolve issues.
• Ensure production processes follow lean manufacturing principles and standard work practices.
• Support compliance with site rules, regulations, and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals.

What You’ll Bring

• Familiarity withvisual managementtools and production tracking systems.
• Solid understanding ofLean Manufacturingprinciples and their application in a production setting.
• Experience with automated production machinery, hand tools, power tools, and fabricating equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to train and motivate team members effectively.
• Problem-solving ability to address issues such as material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and workflow disruptions.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Supervision experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to positively lead and mentor employees to meet production, quality and safety goals.
• Ability to positively and effectively communicate across all levels within the organization.
• Proficiency in the English language (written and oral).
