POSITION: Night Shift Production Supervisor

LOCATION: Orangeburg, NY (EuroMed)

DESCRIPTION:

The Night Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing equipment, staff, and processes in the Clean Room and other production departments to meet schedules supporting site goals. The role enforces company policies, hires, trains employees, and offers growth opportunities. It involves resolving employee disputes, evaluating equipment condition, maintaining a safe environment, and focusing on cost-saving and operational improvements. Reports to the Production Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage all manufacturing activities and performance during your shift.
2. Oversee daily operations and manage a team of 20+ employees.
3. Hire, terminate, and promote staff in coordination with HR.
4. Monitor team performance, conduct reviews, and provide feedback.
5. Resolve shift conflicts professionally, communicating with the Production Manager and HR.
6. Enforce policies and document disciplinary actions when necessary.
7. Set team goals, delegate tasks, and establish deadlines.
8. Identify training needs and facilitate development.
9. Approve timecards and create team schedules.
10. Address root causes of customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
11. Coordinate with EHS and Production Managers on safety issues.
12. Minimize sources of scrap within departments.
13. Generate and explain daily production performance reports using Epicor.
14. Audit production processes, including changeovers and line setups.
15. Support manufacturing standardization and process improvements.
16. Analyze variances and work with the team to resolve issues.
17. Maintain logs and documentation accurately.
18. Collaborate on SOP and project development.
19. Lead continuous improvement activities, including 5S.
20. Use IQS to manage documentation and change control.
21. Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures.
22. Secure the facility at shift end and ensure smooth shift transitions.
23. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Associate/Bachelor Degree in Business or similar, or proven supervisory experience with 20+ employees.
• Experience in hiring and termination processes.
• Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Effective planning and quick decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Experience in employee development and ownership.
• Flexibility to cover day and night shifts as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work near moving mechanical parts and in cleanroom conditions following safety protocols.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.
