Qualifications

  • Food processing experience (USDA/FDA-regulated) preferred; Raw and RTE experience is a plus.
  • Languages: English/Spanish is required.
  • Key Skills: MS Office proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and the physical ability to walk the plant floor and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Join a rapidly growing food manufacturer as we expand our state-of-the-art facility on Long Island, NY. We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to direct daily operations, drive efficiency, enforce food/workplace safety, and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and schedule hourly production staff and Line Leads. Coach employees and cultivate a positive, safe work culture.
  • Shift Operations: Interpret order specifications, establish priorities, and manage labor resources to meet target output and deadlines.
  • Quality & Safety: Enforce USDA/FDA guidelines, conduct routine safety inspections, and verify finished products meet quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs (productivity, quality, safety), troubleshoot operational issues, and support maintenance initiatives.
