Tappwfs in Terrell, Texas, seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor for metal fabrication. You’ll own safety, quality, delivery, and cost with authority on the floor, guiding a high-volume, high-mix operation and working closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.
You’ll train and coach hourly employees, drive continuous improvement, and ensure accurate reporting. Onsite role with growth toward plant leadership over time.
Lead safety, quality, and output on a high-volume metal fabrication floor as a hands-on Production Supervisor.
Production Supervisor – Metal Fabrication Manufacturing
This is a floor leadership role for someone who wants ownership, not oversight from a distance. You'll be the person production runs through — accountable for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, with the authority to make real decisions in the moment.
It's a high-volume, high-mix metal fabrication environment, which means no two days look the same. You'll work directly with plant leadership and partner across Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to keep operations moving, while driving continuous improvement initiatives that actually get implemented.
This is also a people-development role. You'll train, coach, and manage a team of hourly production employees, with real input into their growth and performance — not just their schedules.
Why This Opportunity Is Different:
Unlike supervisory roles where you're buried in administrative tasks, this one keeps you on the floor and close to the work. You'll have direct access to plant leadership, real exposure to cross-functional projects, and a genuine voice in continuous improvement — not just execution of someone else's plan. It's a stable, established operation with room to grow into broader plant leadership over time.
