Aventure Staffing in Sioux City, IA is seeking a hands-on 2nd shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a food manufacturing facility. You will lead floor teams, drive production efficiency, and ensure quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include managing line schedules, enforcing GMP/HACCP guidelines, tracking metrics, reducing waste, and mentoring staff. The role requires 2+ years supervisory experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards highly preferred.

• Direct daily manufacturing activities, manage line schedules, and optimize output to achieve volume goals while maintaining high team morale.
• Enforce adherence to OSHA, HACCP, GMPs, and internal quality/food safety guidelines; participate in routine facility audits and oversee product changeovers.
• Track production metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor floor staff, coordinate onboarding/training for new hires, manage attendance, and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Oversee inventory, labor, and equipment allocation; accurately log production data into the ERP system to maintain operational visibility.
• Build cross-departmental operational knowledge to support business continuity and provide supervisory coverage as needed.
