Job summary

Precision Edge Surgical Products in Sault Ste. Marie, MI seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment, driving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

You will coach staff, monitor metrics, and work with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance to resolve issues and implement continuous improvement. A Bachelor's in Engineering/Business or 5+ years supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machining processes.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Process Capability, and Statistical Analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and make informed operational decisions.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery requirements.
• Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
• Support employee training, performance management, and professional development.
