Previous machining experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learnThis is a full-time production position based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities*** Operate production machinery safely and efficiently* Perform in-process inspections and complete required documentation* Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings* Use standard measuring and inspection equipment accurately* Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean work area* Monitor product quality and meet production standards* Communicate process concerns or safety issues to supervisors immediately* Handle materials and parts carefully to prevent damage* Assist with training team members as needed* Stop production when a safety or quality concern is identified**Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent required* Manufacturing or machining experience preferred* Ability to read measurements, decimals, and fractions* Basic computer skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Must be available to work all shifts as needed**Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours or more)* Frequent bending, twisting, and movement throughout the shift* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Vision correctable to 20/20* Ability to distinguish colors**Additional Information*** Full-time, hourly non-exempt position* Reports directly to the Group Leader* Regular employee status* Scheduled for 40 hours per week* Located in Sault Ste.
