Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Minnesota to coach and lead hourly associates, resolve issues, and bridge communication between shop floor and management.

The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and waste control within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include daily problem-solving with teams, conducting audits, training staff on SOPs and GMPs, setting objectives, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required (a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage)
  • At least one year of experience in food manufacturing or manufacturing
  • At least two years of supervisory experience or several years as a lead employee providing direction to others
  • Lean training/certification at any level is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to work other shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to read and write in English and to write reports legibly and accurately

Responsibilities

  • Work with employees, leads, other supervisors, and managers on a daily basis to resolve technical problems, scheduling conflicts, equipment issues, and employee concerns.
  • Focus on driving safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring company standards.
  • Participate in quality audits and ensure employees are GFSI trained and utilize the training and knowledge to produce safe, quality food.
  • Provide training, leadership, and motivation to team members to ensure SOPs are adhered to and GMPs are followed.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to hourly associates.
  • Prepare and present daily direction through huddle meetings with hourly team members.
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines.
  • Check production output according to specifications and recommend continuous improvement ideas.
  • Submit performance reports and identify issues in efficiency while maximizing resources.
  • Leverage continuous improvement tools to eliminate loss, optimize processes, and improve reliability

Job description

Our client is currently seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR in MN.

The ideal candidate will not just supervise the work of others. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between hourly associates and plant management. The Production Supervisor will oversee and monitor the performance of production operations as it relates to quality, safety, productivity, sanitation, customer service, and waste control.
